ABOUT

I have recently graduated from London College of Fashion where I studied Textiles Embroidery. I take a lot of inspiration from my materials and I specialise in unique and historic craft processes such as tambour beading.

2015/18 BA (Hons) Fashion Textiles: Eembroidery (Graduated) at University of the Arts London, London College of Fashion 

Experience:

Julien Macdonald – Hand embroidery intern

(6 months April – September 2017) 

 

  • Whilst at Julien Macdonald I assisted hand embroidery work for both clients and collections, on both garments and creating samples for clients, for them to choose between when designing their bespoke garments. 

 

  • I was also privileged to work on the companies wedding dresses for private clients one of which included Janette Manrara

 

  • Later into my internship, as part of my role, I was responsible for hiring and taking care of the other embroidery interns, whilst the core embroidery team were working away in India before the collection’s show. 

 

Julien Macdonald – Dresser AW17 & SS18 Collections

(February & September 2017) 

 

  • As a dresser assisting in the show I aided many of the models in getting dressed in their outfit for the show 

 

  • I also assisted in final embroidery repairs and changes backstage and fitting garments to models  

 

LCF X Arcadia – Collaboration with Arcadia (Evans)

(February 2017)

 

  • Selected for a collaboration with Evans to embellish their garments as part of a new unique campaign, the garments were then part of a charity auction for Evans customers.

 

 

Ataraxi - Freelance digital embroidery design

(January 2017) 

  • Creating Digital embroidery designs using Wilcom E3 for Band Fenech Soler for their 2017 tour 

 

Preen By Thornton Bregazzi – Womenswear Production Intern

(8 weeks July – September 2016) 

  • Whilst at Preen I assisted in quality checking garments for customer orders.

 

  • I aided in the sourcing of materials for the previous collection.

 

  • As part of my role, I visited the PR agency and some of their factories, which all allowed me to gain a broader insight into the fashion industry.

  • As a dresser assisting in the show I aided many of the models in getting dressed in their outfit for the show and undressed after, ensuring no items went missing. 

 

  • I also assisted in curation and placement of pressed flowers on the catwalk.
